Show Maw Heads Caravan In Sanpete Saturday Accompanied By Granger, Other Dem. Candidates Six leading Democratic candidates can-didates for stale office will spend an intensive day of campaigning cam-paigning in Sanpete county Sutuiday, it was announced this week by Easton Moffitt, Manti, Sanpete Democratic county chairman. Heading the delegation will be Governor Herbert B. Maw, currently waging a vigorous campaign for a third term. The governor will be accompanied by Heber Eennion, candidate to succeed, himself as secretary of state; Representative Walter K. Granger, candidate to succeed himself as congressman for the second district; Clinton D. Vernon, Vern-on, candidate for attorney general; gen-eral; Rees M. Reese, candidate to succeed himself as state auditor and Ferrel H. Adams, candidate to succeed himself as state treasurer. The caravan of state officials will be joined at various points along the way by Democratic Demo-cratic candidates running for county office, Mr. Moffitt said. These include Vernile Jensen, Moroni, running for the state legislature in District No. 2; Lyman Seely, running for county coun-ty commissioner, 4-year term; A. I. Tippetts, running for state representative from District No. 1; L. Leland Larsen, candidate to succeed himself as judge of the seventh judicial district, and Joe Jensen, running for county commissioner, 2-year term. Th3 day-long campaign effort ef-fort wlil begin at Fairview at 10 a. m., Mr. Moffitt said. From there the auto caravan will travel to Fountain Green with a 10:30 stop scheduled. Other '.owns and times of the caravan's cara-van's visit are Moroni, 11 a. m.; Mt. Pleasant, 11:30 a. m.; I Spring City, 12 noon; Gunnison, 1 p. m.; Manti, 4 p. m. and Ephiaim 5:30 p. m.
