Show Wasatch Notes Ey Donna Young Hop-Kop Seniors are staging a Sock Hop, November . 8. Admission will be charged acocrding to the length of the feet and prizes will be awarded for loudest loud-est socks, smallest feet and largest feet. Class Leaders Freshmen and Junior High students elected their class officers of-ficers recently. Leading the frosh is Bob Harshman with Nancy Marimon as vice president; Kathryn Redd, representative, and Miss Phyllis Phyl-lis Colro-Manes, advisor. Secretary Sec-retary and treasurer will be chosen at a later date. Bill Hanley now presides over the Junior High. He is assisted by Dorothy Squires, vice president; presi-dent; Rokell Carter, secretary; Danny Brooks, treasurer; Mayn-ard Mayn-ard Webb, representative, and Miss Ruth Hacking, advisor. " Pix And Wires Newly organized this fall are the Photography Club and the Radio Club. The Photography Club, advised ad-vised by Miss Ruth Hacking and Mr. D. A. Thomas, is well underway with its work. The members are planning on sponsoring spons-oring several contests, a movie, and hope to exhibit prize winning win-ning pictures from the National High School Photographic Awards nt homecoming. Members of the Radio Club, advised by Mr. John Browne, have begun their projects with lite erecting of a 150 ft. antenna. Dewey Is Choice Results from a student opinion opin-ion poll taken on candidates for President, show a strong ten- dency, on the part of both boys and girls, to favor Dewey. Many students are going home this weeknd to try to bag their deer. ' |
