Show Clubs Receive Tickets For Hosp. Benefit With every civic club and social and fraternal organization organiza-tion in Mt. Pleasant enlisted to sell tickets to next Wednesday Wednes-day ownlng's Sanpete I.. I). S. hospital benefit dance, Pail P. Averett, chairman, Thursday predicted a record house. One of the ouslanding social events of the season, tho dance also offers some local club t he-opportunity he-opportunity of getting on Pic record with a $2.r contribution tc (ho hopltal building fund, Mr Averett pointed out. "Very simple," he explained "The twenty-five bucks wll' first be awarded to the club which makes the biggest ticket sale prior to the dance. Following Follow-ing the awnrd. the money will be accepted back by the dance committee as a Sxclal contribution contri-bution from the club to the building fund. Everybody wins. Nobody loses." Mr. Averett extended his thanks to tho management of the Queen City ballroom for contributing the facilities of the hall to the dance benefits as well as to the members of Grant Johansen's orchestra for contributing con-tributing part of their time to the cause. Assisting committee members are the liev. E. E. Bollinger. Lions club Lvnn Averett, I. O. O. F.; Neil Wilcox. Kod and Gun Club; Robert Nelson, Junior chamber of commerce, and Ernest Ern-est Brunger, American Legion. |
