Show Mrs. Emily C. Jordan Dies In Oregon Relatives in this city have been advised of the death in Enterprise, Oregon, Sunday, of Mrs. Emily M. Caldwell Jordan, 76, former resident resi-dent of this . city, widow of the late Leonard J. Jordan, who died in Logan, Utah in 1918. ' Mrs. Jordan was born September Septem-ber 28, 1857 in West Jordan, Utah. She was married to L. J. Jordan September 28, 1874. They moved to Mt. Pleasant and lived here until un-til 1898 when they moved to Enterprise, En-terprise, Oregon. They moved to Logan in 1914 and in 1918, after Mr. Jordan's death, she returned to Oregon. In 1928 she moved to Salt Lake and in November, 1932 went back to Enterprise where she lived with her son, Eugene, until the time of her death. She was an active L. D. S. church worker. Surviving are four children: L. E. Jordaii, Enterprise, Oregon. J-vin J-vin E. Jordan, Pleasant Grove; D. H. Jordan, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Fanny J. Boyd, Morgan, Utah; 24 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Walter and Edward Caldwell, Salt Lake; Alvin Caldwell, Cardston, Alberta, Canada; two sisters, Mrs. W. Stoo-key Stoo-key and Mrs. Alice Morgan, Salt Lake. Funeral services were held Wednesday Wed-nesday at 2 p. . m. from the Logan Sixth ward chapel.. Burial was in the Logan City cemetery. |
