Show SPRING CITY ! I By Special Correspondence Mr. and Mrs. K. W. Shields and Mr. Dave Shields of South Jordan and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hawlette of Sandy motored to Spring City Sunday Sun-day and spent the day with Mr. and Mrs. Orson Hansen. Friends and relatives pleasantly surprised Mrs. Josephine Christensen Christen-sen Friday, April 21st, the occasion being her 67th birthday anniversary. anniver-sary. Mrs. Joseph I. Beck is a Salt Lake business visitor this week. Mr. and Mrs. John Peterson and Mrs. Elizabeth D. Larsen went to Sigurd Friday. Mr. Everett Strate was in Provo on business last week. Mr. Russell Nunley and family have gone to Salt Lake City for a month. A number of local men and their teams are working on Highway 89 east of Fairview. Mrs. Almina Peterson has returned re-turned home from Salt Lake City where she visited with her children. chil-dren. Gay Blain, who works for the Livestock Company, is home for a visit with his father, Joseph Blain, and other relatives. Theone, 6-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Pratt Osborne, who was scalded severely on her arm and leg three weeks ago, is well again. Miss Ida Olsen, who has been employed at Murray, is visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Olsen. The Spring City ward will hold Its Relief Society conference in the ward chapel Sunday at 8 p. m. Mrs. Bcyd Allred has gone to Salt Lake City where she wUl visit vis-it with her sisters. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Sorensen and Miss Maxine Dalton visited in Salina Sa-lina Sunday with relatives. Lee M. Allred of Spring City returned re-turned home Thursday from Nevada Neva-da w-here he has been employed for the past year. |
