Show I J i FOUNTAIN GREEN 1 i By Special Correspondence Miss Reah Lund, who has employment em-ployment in Salt Lake, spent the week-end here at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Niels Lund. She was accompanied by Miss Josie and Robert Barker of Pocatello, Idaho. They all returned to Salt' Lake Tuesday. I The school opera, "Jerry of Jericho Jer-icho Road," under direction of Mr. Lawrence Sardoni, was presented to a large audience Friday evening. Mr. Sardoni and the cast are to be complimented on the splendid performance. per-formance. The cast included: Du-ane Du-ane Anderson, Earl Ivory, Edna Johnson, Van Livingston, Joy Morgan, Mor-gan, Valeria Coombs, Vern Hansen, Glade Anderson, Zola Blackham, Rentha Longson, Newell Olson, Pershing Cook, Wanda Hansen and a large chorus of students. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Coombs and children of Roosevelt spent the past week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Coombs. Mr. Odell Christensen left for Idaho last week where he has employment em-ployment for the coming summer. Mrs. Frank Maylett of Manti spent this week at the home . of her parents, Mi-, and Mrs. K. P. Jensen. Miss Evelyn Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred D. Smyth, and Mr. Fay Hansen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Hansen, are the valedic torians of the Moroni high school for this year. This is quite an honor hon-or for Fountain Green as this is the sixth successive year that this honor has been won by local students. stu-dents. ' Mr. and Mrs. Deane Swain of Moroni spent last week-end at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Williams. Mr. Lawrence Sardoni spent the week-end in Salt Lake City. A number of officers and teachers from here attended Union meeting meet-ing in Moroni last Sunday. Mrs. Reldon Holman is recovering recover-ing from a tonsil operation which was performed at the Dice Hospital Hos-pital last Thursday. She has returned re-turned home now. The stake and local Primary workers gave a party in the Municipal Muni-cipal hall Friday evening in honor of Mrs. Cahoon, a general board member of the Primary from Salt Lake Games were played and re-f re-f rt!-r:ir.ents were served. Mr. and Mrs. Abe Madson were the recipients of a surprise party given in their honor at their home last week. The Mother's Day program will be held here May 7th instead of on May 14 as the Moroni stake conference will be held here on that day. President and Mrs. Joseph R. Christiansen, Mr. and Mrs. L. R. Ivory and Mrs. Lyda Guymon attended at-tended the Seminary pageant and commencement exercises at Nephi last Sunday evening. Mrs. Christiansen Chris-tiansen sang two vocal solos.
