Show "Better Homes Week" Scheduled for April 23-30 New York, N. Y. "National Better Bet-ter Homes Week this year will be observed from April "23 to 30 in every one of our forty-eight states' and by more than eight thousand communities," according to Dr. Ray Lyman Wilbur, President of Stanford Stan-ford University, who succeeded Herbert Hoover as President oi Better Homes in America. "There has never been a time" Dr. Wilbur continues "In -which home improvements were more needed and more desirable. All A- merican citizens, young and old, can help by keeping up their own ( premises and by making such repairs re-pairs or improvements . in their homes as are possible through their own labor in their free time.
