Show Mrs. Hans Lund was a Fairview visitor Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Granford Hansen. The latter returned with her mother moth-er to Mount Pleasant Tuesday for a visit here. , Lynn Draper, the son of Mr. and Mrs Bob Draper, is reported recovering recov-ering nicely following an injury sustained sus-tained to the left knee last week, when he fell from an apricot, mc-. The knee was badly cut. necessitating necessitat-ing the taking of about twenty stitches. Dr. G. B. Madsen attended People who do things without thinking usually do some thinkiuG altevwards. Mi' and Mrs. Willis Hunter of Los Angeles passed through town Wednesday, enroute to Chicago to attend the World's Fair. Mr. Huntei is playgrounds director at one of the larger Los Angeles schools. Mrs. Doige was former rt Gertrude Knudsen, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Knudsen, orie-1;me Mount Pls-isant residents. Mrs. Hannah Corwin and her daughter, Mrs. E B. Samt of Salt Lake, have been visiting with Mt. Pleasant relatives this week. . Beth Johansen, daughter of Mi-, and Mrs. Lawrence Johansen, had her tonsils removed Monday morning, morn-ing, by Dr. G. B. Madsen. Miss Oleah Wall is visiting in Mount Pleasant with friends and relatives, after having attended school in Los Angeles during the summer. She will return this fall to her teaching position in the Salt Lake schools. Her brother Charles, who also attended summer school in California, was so smitten with the coast state's charms that he decided to remain there for a while, Oleah reports. |
