Show Mr. and Mrs. John H. Stansfield entertained informally at dinner Tuesday evening in honor of Mrs. Stansfield's birthday anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Beescn and two sons and Newton Clemensen and son, of Payette, Idaho, visited here last week with their mother Mrs. Emma C. Kenward. Billy Beck celebrated his thirteenth thir-teenth birthday anniversary with a party Sunday evening. i Mrs. E. W. Wall and Mrs. Ml-i vina C. Seely will entertain the Home Culture Club at the Wall home next Wednesday afternosn. A party of twenty-six women of the Women's Progressive Club and their husbands Monday night called on Mrs. J. W. Kenward to offer an expression of condolence and sympathy, sym-pathy, due to her loss in the recent death of her husband. Mr. Heber Morley was the lucky man who won the Service Star Legion Le-gion quilt at the Battery D MiHtaiy ball at Armory hall Thursday pv,-nir.g. pv,-nir.g.
