Show I I l MORONI ! Rv Special Correspondence Mr. and Mrs. Truman Curtis of Salt Lake City visited in Moroni and Ft. Green last week. Mrs. Glen Miner entertained the J-. Sorosis club Thursday nigth of last week. The lesson on "Parties" was given by Mrs. Scott Cock. Three tables of Bridge were played, Mrs. Abe Little winning high score and Mrs. Clifton Livingston consolation prize. Refreshments were served to fourteen guests. Mrs. Leonard Andersen and children chil-dren of Manti are visiting in Moroni. Mo-roni. Mrs. Joseph Prestwich entertained entertain-ed Sunday, February 18th, in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Moss. Dinner Din-ner was served to Mr. and Mrs. Don Carter, Lloyd Moss and Ronald Frandsen of Mt. Pleasant, E'aine Gee, Francis Blackham, Tess Tid-well, Tid-well, Helen Prestwich and Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Moss of Moroni. Mi-, and Mrs. John Anderion announce an-nounce the birth of a baby boy at their home. Monday, Feb. 19th, Mrs. Janette Prestwich celebrated her 82nd birthday birth-day anniversary. Those present were Mrs. Jane Syme, Mrs. Mena Sorensen, Mrs. Tranquilla Dye, Mrs. Eliza Bradley, Mrs. Hilda Bruno, Mrs. Luella Draper, Mrs. Anna Christensen, Mrs. Ophelia Rhodes, Mrs. Hattie Ames, Mrs. Nora Prestwich, Prest-wich, Mrs. Dorcas Erickson, Mrs. Ella Simpson, Mrs. Enid Nielson, Mrs. Joseph Prestwich, Mrs. Blanch Prestwich and Miss Helen Prestwich. Prest-wich. The afternoon was spent in social chat and relating old time stories. Refreshments werwe served. serv-ed. The Moroni high school held its annual Junior Prom Friday and Saturday nigths in the old Bungalow. Bunga-low. Both dances were a big success. suc-cess. The people of Moroni were shocked shock-ed to hear of the death of Mrs. Elmo El-mo Richards at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gibbso Monson Mon-son of Mt. Pleasant. The entire community extends its deepest sympathy sym-pathy to Elmo. |
