"The filing fee has not been repealed, and payment will be required at the time of the filing of the returns, in all cases except where the taxpayer Is destitute and the payment of the fee would work an actual hardship. In the latter ca 'e the return must be accompanied accompa-nied by an application for remission remis-sion of the filing fee." Mr. Tibby stated that the last day for filing returns Is March 15. and that thereafter a penalty will be imposed for delinquency. There will be no extension this year as was the case in 1933, It was asserted. Mr. Tibby a'so said that the fact that a taxpayer has not received blanks from Salt Lake does not excuse ex-cuse him for not making a return, nor does it relieve him from liability liabil-ity for not filing. |
