The Home Economics club held a most successful party last week, in honor of the outoing officei-s who served during 1934. A fine program was enjoyed and an elaborate banquet ban-quet was served to 300 people after which th'y enjoyed dancing in the Amusement Hall. Mrs. Dean Nielsom has returned from the L. D. S. hospital and is new rapidly improving. Mi'fl Delia Robertsoni, who has employmen tin Salt Lake, visited this weprk with her parents, Mr, and Mrs. James F. Robertson. The male population of Fountain Green enjoyed a most succes ful rabbit drive last Saturday afternoon, after-noon, had been w 11 advertised and as the farmers are very desirous desir-ous of doing away with them, most everyone jcined in the drive and during th day mlore than 3,000 rabbits were killed. This is the second hunt Founta;n Green has had and the men are planning a-nother a-nother on soon. The M. I. A. drama, "The Di-trict Attorney," wa3 presented Monday ev ning to a large audience and the fine talent chosen, who did 3) exceptionally ex-ceptionally well with their respective respec-tive parts were: Jew;l Lund, Jack Sorenson, Clair Collard, James C. Aagard, Arvard Aagard, Leland Hansen, Arvin Anderson, Acel Olson, Ol-son, Harry Hansen, Mabel Smyth, Joan Ivory, Athalb Johnson, Victoria Vic-toria Yorgascn, Donna Guymon, and Lois Ivory. It was under the direction of M:ss Hazel Aagard and Stanley Ivory. Twenty of the boys and girls of the 9th grade planned a surprise party on Miss Verraa Johnson last Sunday evening, the occasion bein? her birthday anniversary. Games were played and refrerlhme.nts were s'Tved. Ned Higginson and Douglas Doug-las Kendall cf Nephl were special guests. Mrs. John Jensen of Redmond spent a few days this week at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. K. P. Jensen. Warren Holman is unable to be out and around, due to diabetes. |
