Thursday and Friday, February 14th and 15th "Helladro," starring Richard Arlln and Madge Evans. Mrs. Ernest Blackham entertained the Scrolls club Thursday afftrnoon at her home. Plans were made for the annual party to be held February 20th at the heme of the club president, Mrs. Leo Morley. Luncchon was atvd to fourteen members. Mrs. Niels Eliaron and Mrs. Marvin Draper were special guests. The Daughters of the Pioneers will hold their regular meeting Friday, Fri-day, February 8th. Mrs. Orlando Draper entertained the Soartdom club Thursday afternoon after-noon of last week. The afternoon was spent making quilt blocks. Luncheon was served1 to eight members. mem-bers. Mrs. NSols Eliason of Alberta, Canada is visting her father, W. L. Irons and other relatives at Moroni. The Moroni High School Junior Prom will be held in the Old Bungalow Bun-galow Friday, and Saturday, February Feb-ruary 15th and 16th. Mr. William Kellett was operated upon at the Dice Hospital to remove re-move a cataract from his one eye. The operation was a success. Mrs. Urvin Morley entertained the Junior Soroais club Thursday evening. eve-ning. The leTson, "Music Appreciation Apprecia-tion and Musicians (classical and popular)" was given by Mrs. Rod-ley Rod-ley Bagnall. Mrs. Elden Westen-skow Westen-skow rang several songs accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Bagnall. The remainder of the evening was spent in playing Bridge. Mrs. Daniel Anderson returned home Tuesday from Salt Lake City, where she visited! her daughter, Mrs Morgan Lamb, who is in the L. D. S. hospital. Mrs. Lamb ia very slowly recovering. Mrs. Marvin Anderson and Mrs. Melvin Curtis were special guests at the Bee Hive club held at the home of Mrs. John Peterson at Spring City Friday afternoon. The Artopic club met Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Hy-rumi Hy-rumi Tidwell The afternoon was spent playing R;ok.' Refreshments were rerved to eight members. Two new members were taken into the club. They were Mrs. Willard Blackham, Black-ham, Jr., and Mrs. Josiah Blackham, Black-ham, Jr. |
