Show Pleasant Grove Ambulance Now Paid in Full, Report Says The Pleasant Grove City Ambulance Am-bulance is paid for in full, according- to a rtiport given to the men of the Pleasant Grove Auxiliary Police at their bi-weekly meeting: this week. The purchase of this ambulance was made less than a year ago, in the latter part of April,"with ths help of local contributions for the down payment and financing for the remainder. The nominal fee charged for the use of the ambulance (the men's services are completely voluntary) vol-untary) has been used to purchase pur-chase needed accessories, and to pay the remainder due on the purchase pur-chase of the ambulance. In the future the fee charged will go to the purchase of additional addi-tional needed equipment and to replace existing equipment when needed. Any remaining money will be placed in a reserve toward the replacement of the ambulance when needed. These men are on call 24 hours a day. They have averaged five calls a month. Arrangements are in process for a first aid class to begin shortly after Thanksgiving. This class will be open to the public. Anyone interested in attending may contact Keith Anderson. Instructor for the class will be William Hamilton, one of the volunteer policemen and also an authorized instructor for the Red Cross. |
