Show GLEN A. PHILLIPS Glen A. Phillips New Fourth Ward Counselor Recent changes In the ward boundaries in the Fourth Ward have required some reorganization reorganiza-tion recently reports Bishop Gerald Ger-ald Belllston. Glen A. Phillips, has been sustained as Second Counselor, Coun-selor, replacing Robert James, who replaced Paul Fbrdham as first counselor. , Dale Lewis, was sustained as financial clerk, replacing' Mr. Phillips. Glen A. Phillips was born in American Fork, April 24, 1925. He attended school years there and spent two years in the armed service with the Air Force, stationed sta-tioned in England. He married Isabelle Offret in 1945 and the marriage was solemnized sol-emnized in the Salt Lake Temple in 1952. The couple have seven children, Cindy, Glen, Karin, Michael, Mi-chael, David, Alan and Elizabeth. Mr. Phillips has been finance clerk, genealogy teacher, deacon's adviser, Orem First Counselor in the Elders Quorum presidency. He is employed at Geneva Steel Corporation. Other changes in the ward auxiliaries were as follows: Delose Fotheringham, William Forbes and Roy Fredrickson, as the Sunday School Superintend-ency, Superintend-ency, with Wayne Peay and Ted Jones being released. Other new workers were "Alice Judd, chorister, Maud Richards, Rich-ards, 2 minute talk supervisor, Elaine Fredrickson, assistant to the chorister, Sharilyn Iverson, as organist, and Guy Hillman, Rose Hillman, Kenneth Poulsen, Joyce Poulsen and Marilyn Gardner as teachers. In the YMMIA, Leo Hansen was named superintendent replacing replac-ing Fred Keetch. Paul Batchelor is the new Ensign leader. Oveda Jarvis and Aliene Lewis are activity and age group counselor, coun-selor, and Naomi Keetch was released re-leased as activity counselor. Other MIA workers are Donna Hayworth, music director; Eva Henderson, Era director; Nancy Gilliland, Mia Maid; Fay Bellis-ton, Bellis-ton, Laurel; and Gwen Richards,' 1st Year Beehive. In the Aaronic Priesthood, John Einerson was sustained as Deacon advisor. |
