Show VIKING VIGNETTES by Karen Fugal -XT A special matinee dance started start-ed off the week with a real bang! The dance was in honor of the football team. It was held second period Monday, and the students really enjoyed themselves. Dave Shoell played ibhe records while John Gourley acted as master of ceremonies. Since this dance was such a big success, -we can look forward to having many others V-V The first school paper of th! year came out yesterday. The Journalism class has decided to print only two papers a month instead of one a week. V-V Tomorrow the Utah Symphony Orchestra will be here at the high school. Music students f rom A.F., Lehi and P.G., will attend. Other people who ane interested are also invited. V-V Senior students are in the process pro-cess of getting "in the mood" for the Senior Hop. The dance directors direc-tors are teaching the "Hopanod" to the couples who are dancing and the co-chairmen are busy making sure that all the committees commit-tees are getting their plans underway. un-derway. The dance will be Nov. 25. The theme is "Quonila." V-V The FHA met to make further plans on the Sweater Swing which will be held Saturday, Dec. 5. At the dance the "Preferred Boy" will be crowned. The theme of the dance is "My Ideal" and co-chairmen of the affair are Paulette Johnson and Marianna Smith. V-V One quarter :s over and by the looks of a lot of report cards, we'd better get on the ball. We could have done worse, but let's see if when they come out next, we can't do a lot better. |
