While in Los Angeles the choir will also appear on the nationally televised award show (Nov. 29, NBC) of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences where it will receive the "Granny" award, counterpart of the movies' "Oscar," for its hit recording of "Battle Hymn of the Republic." The choir is conducted by Richard P. Condie, with Alexander Schrcincr and Frank V. Asper as organists, and Richard L. Evans as commentator, commen-tator, left to right insets above. |
