Show Legion Officers Plan for Birthday Party March 17 Off leers of Pleasant Grove American Am-erican Legion Post 70 and Auxiliary Auxil-iary met Monday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Banks to plan the 1960 Legion Birthday party. The date of Thursday, March . 17, was selected for the annual affair and reservations have been made with the looal House of Pizza restaurant to serve the Virginia baked ham dinner Speaker of the evening will be District Commander Lloyd Evans of Spanish Fork. He will tell of the accomplishments of the American Am-erican Legion since its organization organiza-tion in France, 41 years ago. Music Mu-sic will be furnished by a Barber Shop Quartet, directed by Clyde Pyper. Dinner arrangements and table decorations will be made by Auxiliary Aux-iliary President Lela Banks, Joyce Jacobs and May Jensen. Ticket sales and reservations are under the direction of Commander Com-mander Milton Adamson and Glen Matthews, Victor Bronson, Viron Washburn, Bill Petersen and Irwin Ir-win Jensen. All Legionarres and their partners part-ners and members of Unit 70 Auxiliary are cordially invited to attend, Commander Adamson said. |
