Show Hobo Party Enjoyed By Second Ward Primary Teachers Primary officers and teachers of the .Second Ward, enjoyed a very unique but jolly gathering this week, a Hobo Party. The very unique party was held on the lawns at the home of the President Presi-dent Mrs. E. M. Williams. Eveiything was in keeping with the theme. Guests were attired in colorful hobo costumes, and the lunch was served in paper bags; favors were red bandanas, filled with candy and peanuts, tied hobo fashion on carrying sticks. A large black pot, hung over a make-believe fire, ht'ld the prizes for the games, that were played. Mrs. Avera Williams and Mrs. Kathryn Rees tied for first prize for the best costume. Committee on arrangements were Kathryn Rees, chairman; Avera Williams, Beth McNees and Fein Maxfield. Others present were Delia Hunti Phyllis Thomson, Roslyn Beveridge, LaVerl Makin, Ireta Mitchell, Nelda Rawlings, j Nelda Rawlinson, Kathryn Davis, Bonnie Walker, Virginia Chipmnn, Marvel Lowder, Maydene Madson. |
