Show Training School Hosts Delegates Dr. V. F. Houston, superintendent superin-tendent of the Utah State Training Train-ing School and his staff, are currently cur-rently ho3ts to the delegates to the Mountain States Regional Conference of the American Association As-sociation on Mental Deficiency. The conclave began Thursday morning, Sept. 15 and will continue con-tinue through Sept. 17. Featured speakeis include Mrs. Anna Scruggs, superintendent Oklahoma State School; Dr. Pat. rick F. Bray, U of U Medical School; Prof. Herschel W. Nes-onger, Nes-onger, president-elect of AAMD and Dr. C. ,A. Mclntyre, Nampa, Idaho. A fitting u elude to the. convention con-vention was the "Public Service Awards" program held at the school Wednesday. Forty employees, employ-ees, who had served for 10 years or more were honored guests. Those honored, who live in the Pleasant Grove area, were as follows: fol-lows: K. Wamick Swenson,' Avice H. Thayne, Ivins L. Thayne, Raymond Ray-mond Christensen, Clarence Roundy, Delbert Huntsm;:n and Cosby Rogers. Commissioner C. Ward Hol-brtxik Hol-brtxik of the State Welfare De-partmsnt De-partmsnt presented the group; Dr. Mark K. Allen, psychology de. paitment, BYU, gave the tribute and Dr. V. F. Houston, .superin tendent of the school, direcljd the prgram for the evening. A feature of Friday's session will be a repeat of the children's program, "One World."
