Show Winners Announced in Very Successful Lindon Community Fair Held Last Saturday, Sept. 10 Perfect Indian summer weather weath-er set the mood for the good-sized good-sized crowd who came to the "Biggest Little Fair in Utah." The Lindon Second ward took first place for the best miniature minia-ture float. Jadean Gillman, and Ross Phillips depicted the bride and groom. Second place for floats went to the Lindon Choir for its entry; and tied for third were the Era float entered by Lindon Ward MIA and "Happiness in Youth" an entiy by Mrs. Don Hutchinson. Hutchin-son. A highlight of the day was the horse show with a variety of breeds being entered and judged. The exhibits of flowers, needlework, needle-work, baked goods, arts and hobbies, hob-bies, livestock and pets gave the celebration the atmosphere of an old-fashioned county fair. Ball games, contests and refreshment refresh-ment stands made a full afternoon after-noon for all fair goers. Final event of the day was a Chuck Wagon Supper, served by the Lindon Lions Club.
