Show , . ! 1 i -thrift., V r ' .--r-i ELDER GLEN J. HALES Farewell Sunday Will Honor Glen J. Hales A farewell testimonial honoring honor-ing Elder Glen J. Hales will be held in the Orem Sixth Ward Chapel at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18. Bishop Alva Durfey will preside at the services. Elder Hales, who has accepted ' a call to labor in the Swiss-Austrian Mission, is the son of Mrs. Norma Hales. He will enter the Salt Lake City LDS Mission home on Sept. 19 and will leave for his field of labor, Sept. 26. . Elder Hales is a graduate of Pleasant Grove High School and Seminary and for the past two years he has been a student at BYU. All ward members and other friends of the family are cordially invited to attend the farewell services. ser-vices. Speakers who will honor Elder Hales at the program are Ray Louder, and LeGrand Janman, and Mrs. Hales, the young missionary mis-sionary and Bishop Durfey will also give remarks. A musical number will be given by a double male quartet under the direction of Mrs. Margie Lott accompanied by Lorraine Fowlke. A vocal solo, "My Testimony" will be sung by Carol Pulley, accompanied by Geneal Fugal. Prelude music will be played by Barbara Jarman and prayers will be offered by Harley Gillman Gill-man and President Dover Hunt. |
