Show William Hardings Say Nuptial Vows In Lindon Church Lindon ward recreation hall was respendant and colorful with late spring and early summer flowers on Friday evening, forming a beautiful setting for the marriage of a charming young couple, Miss Lois Harris and Wm. E. Harding. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Harris, while Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Harding are parents of the groom. Bishop LeGrande Ercanbrack performed the marriage ceremony. Only near relatives and close friends were present. The bride was attended by Shir-leen Shir-leen Roundy, maid of honor and Joyce Swenson, Betty Eyres, Jo-Ann Jo-Ann S. Gaisl'ord and Bernice Harding Hard-ing were bridesmaids. Little Bonnie Bon-nie Jo Peterson was flower girl, Dale Harding' sei-ved his brother as best man. The bride was charmingly gowned gown-ed in white satin with lace! bodice and long sleeves. Her finger tip viel of net and lace, was held by orange blossoms. She carried a bridal bouquet of roses and split carnations. Her attendants wore pastel formals and held nose gays of carnations and roses, as did also the pretty little flower girl. Both mothers wore long gowns, Mrs. Harris a pale orchid and Mrs. Harding fuschia. They pinned on corsages of white roses. Following the marriage ceremony, cere-mony, the young couple and their praty received relatives and friends, assisting were their parents. par-ents. Mr. and Mrs. Don Peterson and Mr. and Mrs. Walt Wickman welcomed guests at the door and Miss Ellen Turner looked after the guest registration. Oliver Johnson emceed the activities act-ivities and cleverly introduced the program numbers: a vocal solo, Melvina Judd; a toast to the bride and groom Helen Hall; a vocal solo Mrs. Garth Walker, accompanied by Utahna Walker; tap dance, Charlotte Carrol, a ballet number Sharon Carroll, and a reading by D.eanna Walker. In the serving room the table was covered with a lovely lace cloth over satin, and centered with a gorgeous three tier wedding wed-ding cake; topped with a miniature minia-ture bride and groom and circled with rose buds and flanked by lighted candles. Formally clad young ladies who served were Janice Swenson, Colleen Swenson Swen-son Willa May Johnson, Wilma Hari'is and LeAnn Hooley. The beautiful gift display was arranged by Jeannette Loader and Mary V. McKay. Following the honeymoon in Yellowstone National Park, the newlyweds will make their home in St. Johns, Utah. |
