Show 4-H CLUB NEWS SUGAR AND SPICE Sugar and Spice 4-H club of Manila met Thursday at 2 p.m. at the home of Miss Kathleen Allen, and had a demonstration in soup making. They prepared onion and potato soup and later worked on recipe files. Participating were Patsy Allen, Delma Huntsman, Lois Huntsman and Carolyn Carlson. Carl-son. SCISSORS The Scissors club met Thursday afternoon at the home of Nora Ann Hanson with Mrs. Beulah Gillman, leader, and DeVona Johnson, assistant as-sistant leader. After an opening prayer by Kathleen Bullock, a new girl, Julia Kay, was admitted to the club. The girls worked sand- j ing their step-up shelf and later sang "Dear State of Utah." Eight girls were present. Next meeting will be Thursday with Julia Kay. BUSY BEES On June 11 the Busy Bees 4-H club held their meeting at the home of Geniel Hone. Geniel showed show-ed us how to wash the dishes. The health discussion was given by. Patsy Mart. Refreshments were served by Geniel. 12 club members mem-bers were present. The Busy Bees held their last meeting at the home of Mary Lynn Gardner on June 18. Mary -Lyn showed us how to brush our teeth. The health discussion dis-cussion was given by Betty Beers. Refreshments were served by Mary Lyn. Ten club members were present. |
