Show M-Men - Gleaners Of Stake Held j First Dance i With the 1st ward, Grove and Lindon wardss as hosts, the stake M. Men and Gleaners held their first dance of the season Tuesday night. November 22nd in the First Ward Chapel.' About 100 young: people and their I leaders participated in the even- l ing's entertainment. The festivities started at 8.30 with mixer dances, the Virginia ' Reel, and regular ballroom clan-1 cing. Dancing being under the direction dir-ection of Elroy West, 1st ward dance director. Bob Gillman oper- ! ating the phongraph. " Later in the evening dancing gave way to a humorous reading by Mary Lou Movie, followed by : a lucky balloon shower. At a given j 1 time 20o balloons floated down on I the crowd with 36 lucky numbers I among them. The prizes were donated by the business places in town and those in charge wish to express their gratitude and appre-iation appre-iation for same. Leaders responsible for the pleasant affair were Stake M Men President Garth Walker, Stake Gleaner President Burdene Walker, Walk-er, and Ward Leaders, Hazel Bullock Bul-lock and Austin Dittmore, Lindon; Leatha Carson and Gene Harvey, Grove Ward, Jennie Gilbert and Glen Gilbert 1st ward. ! ! |
