Show Stake Play Draws Large Audiences; Wins Praise More than 1200 people saw and enjoyed the stake M. I. A. play, "Big Hearted Herbert.' As is al- ways the case with the stake play each part was well sustained and bore evidence of untiring work of the cast and careful directing. Each member of the cast fitted in their role, and gave fine support sup-port to the heavier parts, carried by Mrs. Eldon Westover and F. M. Paulson, and they with their director are to be complimented for a fine performance. Each of the three performances was presented to capacity crowds in the high school and many were turned back, failing to find even standing room. j At the close of Thursday evening's even-ing's performance, Mrs. G. Y. Anderson, And-erson, the efficient and untiring director was presented with a and also, a gift of appreciation beautiful bouquet of cut flowers in behalf of the Stake M. I. A. board from the play cast. |
