Show Manila Ward To Present Comedy November 29-30 "That Lucas Family", a comedy in three acts will be presented in the Manila Ward recreation hall on Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 29 and 30th, beginning at 7.30 p.m. The play, directed by Mrs. Ven-ace Ven-ace Fugal is a rollicking comedy and promises fun and laughs for all. The cast is as follows: Gramp Strong, Civil War Veteran, Blaine Warnick; Sam Singer, Spanish A-merican A-merican War Veteran, George Mon-son; Mon-son; Mathilda Lucas, with P. T. A. Ambitions, Annie Thayne; Bob Lucas, her son, Lynn Harris; Ruth Lucas with a yen for the stage, Joann Roundy. Lane Appleton, a city slicker, Lee Warnick; Jean Kline, Ruth's friend, Betty Robey; Ray Dutton, Jay Olson; Robert Lucas, Mathilda's Mathil-da's husband, Kenneth Adams; Lucy Dutton, Maurine Allei; Mrs. Timmis, Erevah Allen. Tuesday evening is set for home folks and for the conveniences of wards holding Mutual on Wednesday Wednes-day ,as is Wedensday evening not to interfere with Mutual in other wards. The stage has been equipped with an entirely new setting and in every way the play promises to be a fine entertainment. The pub-lice pub-lice is cordially invited. |
