Show Ground Broken For New Building At State School Construction of a custodial dormitory dorm-itory under a $31,000 W P A project proj-ect was started Monday at the Utah State Training School. The new building will be an infirmary in-firmary type building, providing custodial facilities for some 60 helpless help-less children, according to Superintendent Super-intendent H. H. Ramsay. It will be of one-story brick construction, to match other buildings of the group, and will be located to the west of the employes' . building, in the boys' dormitories. Of the $31,000 total cost, the state's share as sponsor is $13,935, Dr. Ramsay said. This building is one of a group of six contemplated at the school. The others include a semi-fireproof dormitory for older farm boys, a combination administration building build-ing and hospital, two more cottages for high grade children, and another an-other custodial dormitory. o : l |
