Show Writers To Enjoy Round-up At Provo Writing opportunities in a state being revolutionized by war industry indus-try will be scrutinized by the League of Utah Writers at their annual roundup in Provo July 11 and 12. Not only league members but may attend. Dr. Henry A. Over-street, Over-street, author of non-fiction best sellers will open the "Lucky Seventh" Sev-enth" roundup with a discussion of "The Writer in This Troubled World." All Saturday sessions will be held in the Joseph Smith Memorial Me-morial building, including the banquet ban-quet in the evening. The Sunday sessions, including the annual poets' breakfast will be at the Provo Golf clubhouse. Mrs. A. W. Clyde of this city, a member of the Provo chapter, chap-ter, which is host to the roundup, received honorable mention in the poetry contest conducted annually in connection with the roundup. |
