Show FAMILY DINNER HONORS NEWLYWEDS Mrs. Josie Walker entertained at a delicious chicken dinner on June 25 in honor of . Mr., and Mrs. J. H. Walker who were married on June 24 in the Salt Lake L D S temple. The spacious home was decorated deco-rated with a riot of roses and summer flowers and more than 20 family members were present to offer congratulations and good wishes to the young couple. Covers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Arowsmith of Chicago, parents of the bride; Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Moyle and Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Welcher of Magna, Mr. and Mrs. Orvile Larson of Kaysville, Mr. and Mrs. LeGrande Walker of Ogden, Og-den, Mrs. J. Sanford Walker of Denver, Mr. and ' Mrs. Thomas Walker, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Walker, Emma and Ben Walker, all of this city, Miss May Greenwood Green-wood of American Fork and the hostess. The bride, formerly Miss Lola AiTowsmith of Denver, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Arowsmith of Chicago, and is a former student of the Brigham Young university. The groom is the son of the late James H. and Mrs. Walker of this city. He is a graduate of the Pleasant Grove high school, a former for-mer student of the U S A C at Logan, and has served an L D S mission in Australia. Carrying with them the good wishes of their many friends, the young couple left Friday morning for Denver where they will make their home. |
