Show Last Rites For Accident Victim Held AVednesday Funeral services for Wallace Hei-1 Hei-1 selt, who was fatally injured Friday night when struck by an automobile, , I were conducted Wednesday afternoon after-noon in the First ward chapel, with Darrell Proctor of the ward bishopric bishop-ric officiating. Speakers at the services were T. A. Greenwood, former bishop of the First ward; Bishop Lionel Larsen of the Lehi Fourth ward, and Cecil Dimick. Counselor Proctor spoke briefly in closing. The invocation was offered by James T. Gardner, also a former bishop of the First ward. The closing prayer was given by D. W. Jones. The grave in the! American Fork cemetery was dedicated dedi-cated by E. Ray Gardner. rm t,;oc woro nnpnpd With a selection, "Sometime We'll Understand," Under-stand," by a mixed quartet, Mrs. Erma Adams, Mrs. Elgen Lee, Mrs. Gilbert Batchelor and Mrs. Mildred Mecham. Other musical numbers included a vocal solo,, "In the Garden Gar-den of Tomorrow," by Darrell Wan- I 'lass; and another selection by the quartet, "In the Garden." Mrs. Mary Humphries played the piano accompaniment for the musical numbers. Mr. Heiselt was instantly killed at about 10:50 p. m. Friday when he was struck by an automobile on U. S highway 91, about one mile east of American Fork. The driver of the automobile, Stella Dixon of Provo, Pro-vo, was absolved of blame by Utah county officers who investigated the accident. . " A son of Hensen H. and Mary ChristensenHeiselt, Mr. Heiselt was born August 21, 1889, at Sanford, Colorada. He came to American Fork with his parents when a child and had resided here since. He received re-ceived his education in the American Fork schools and had engaged in farming. He married Nadine Wilson of Lehi, on November 18, 1915, at Salt Lake City. He was a member of the L. D S church, being an Elder in the priesthood at the time of his death. He was a kind and loving husband and father, and was known as a good neighbor. He is survived by his wife, three sons and two daughters, Wilson, Calvin, Joseph and Winnie Heiselt, all of American Fork, and Mrs. Rhea Anderson of Manteca, California.; Cali-fornia.; his father, N. H. Heiselt of Mesa, Arizona; and one brother, L. H. Heiselt of Sanford, Colorado. , n |
