Show Four Young People Suffer Injuries In Auto Accident Four young people of Pleasant Grove who were injured when the car in which they were riding struck a utility pole on U. S. Highway 91, Friday night, are recovering satisfactorily satis-factorily according to latest reports. Glenn Robertson, 19, was driving a car loaned to him by Keith Nelson, Nel-son, and was taking some friends Don Smith, 19, Fae Tomlinson, 20, and Lois Hooley, 18, of Orem to see a wreck which had occurred a short time before, near american Fork. Investigating officers, Deputy Sheriff Arthur Winters, and Patrolman Patrol-man Grant reported that young Robertson was driving west just beyond be-yond the new Corleisson Service station. He turned out for Frank Thompson who was walking on the north side of the road going to George Peay's where he is employed. Blinded by the lights of an on-coming car, Robertson turned out too far, striking and cutting off a utility pole. The collision occurred in front of the Glen Matthews home about midnight. Robertson suffered from a head wound and loss of blood. Missi Tomlinson sustained a broken right arm and bruises, Smith a broken nose, and Miss Hooley head lacerations lacera-tions and bruises. They were taken to the American Fork hospital where they received treatment. |
