Show M Men To Play All-Stars, Lions To Battle on Skates, In Big Athletic Carnival One of the biggest sports attractions of the year will be offered by the American Fork Lions club on Wednesday night, March 12, when an Athletic Carnival will be staged at the American Fork high school gym. The feature event will be a basketball game between the American Fork Fourth ward M Men, winners of third j place in the district M Men tourna- i ment at Springville last week, and the Alpine All-Stars, rated as one of the best basketball teams in this section. When these two teams meet, a real ball game is sure to be the result. As an added attraction; and one ;hat promises to proviue pienior v laughs, the American Fork Lions have challenged the Lehi Lions to a basketball game on roller skates. According to advance rumors, these two all-star teams will appear in full costume, and when they come on the floor a general panic is expected. ex-pected. , The Lions club show committee,! comprised of Leo G. Meredith, Glen L Taylor, LeRoy R. Griffin, Clarence Clar-ence A. Grant and Harold Holley, are in charge of the Athletic Carnival. Carni-val.
