Show B. Y. H. Clinches District Title And Tourney Berth The Wildcats of B. Y. High school clinched their first Alpine district championship in twenty years when they defeated the American Amer-ican Fork Cavemen, 48 to 34, Friday night at Provo. It was the second time in history that B. Y. has taken a district title- Pleasant Grove and Provo won their games from Lehi and Lincoln, respectively, remaining tied for second place. Tonight (Friday) will see the final games of the district series, with Provo playing at American Amer-ican Fork, Pleasant Grove at Lehi, and B. Y. High at Lincoln. If both Provo and pleasant Grove win their games tonight, a playoff for second place will be necessary to determine which team will play the Nebo district runner-up for a state tournament tour-nament 'berth-In 'berth-In last Friday night's games the Cavemen gave the Wildcats plenty of competition, and for the first three quarters it looked like American Amer-ican Fork's game. B. Y. snapped out of it in the final quarter and, starting with only a one-point edge, held the Cavemen scoreless while they scored the winning margin.
