Show Beth Hutchings Gets High Post With Jr. Demos Beth Hutchings of American Fork, prominent worker in the Democratic Democra-tic party, was named state vice president pres-ident of the Young Democrats' club by acclamation, at the state convention conven-tion at Provo Saturday. Bruce Jenkins, Ogden and Weber county organization head, was elected elect-ed to the presidency. The Young Democrats heard Senator Sen-ator Elbert D. Thomas attack the political "strategy" of the candidacy of Dr. Franklin S. Harris for the Republican nomination for senator; passed a resolution congratulating various officials but purposely omitting omit-ting Senator William H. King, and accomplished other business of the organization. Among the speakers, besides Senator Sen-ator Thomas were Mayor Mark Anderson An-derson of Provo, Congressman J. W. Robinson, Grover Giles of the attorney at-torney general's office, State National Nation-al Committeeman A. S. Brown, State National Committeewomen Mrs. J. W.
