Show Pleasant Grove Locals D. B. Thorne of Lindon made a business trip to'Kamas Thursday. Mrs. Mabell Jense was a Salt Lake City visitor from Monday to Thursday Thurs-day of this week. Mrs. C. H. Hussey and Mr. and Mrs. Warren Hussey of Ogden visited visit-ed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Merrill N. Warnick Monday. Wilden Haws, of St. John's, Arizona, Ari-zona, visited with Mrs. C. P. Warnick War-nick and Miss Effie Warnick in Provo, Pro-vo, and other relatives in Manila, Monday. Marjorie Holdaway and Shirley West are visiting with Orin Holdaway, Holda-way, in Afton, Wyoming. They expect ex-pect to vacation there about ten days. Margie Driggs of Los Angeles is s visiting with her grandmother and j other relatives in Pleasant Grove. , Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Ronnow of Las Vegas, Nevada, are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Banks. ' Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Rollins have returned from a two weeks trip to San Francisco, California, where Mr. Rollins attended a reserve officers military camp. Miss Dezzie Adams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Adams, is visiting in Ogden with Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd L. Peterson. Mr. and Mrs. Burton H. Adams and sons, Guymon and Gordon, spent Saturday of last week in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Walker entertained en-tertained at a canyon party for Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Harvey of San Jose, California, last week. Mr. Harvey is a brother of Mrs. Walker. Mrs. .Helen Richards of Chicago was a guest of Mrs. Harold Walker over the week-end. Mrs. Richarls I came by plane from Chicago to Salt Lake City, for the visit. Sunday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Macfarlane were Mr. and Mrs. John I. Fisher and daughters daugh-ters Fern and Thelma, of Clearfield. Mr. and Mrs. George Peay and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Woodworth went to Mirror lake for the week-end. There they attended the Rust family reunion. Mrs. Frank Ross of Fargo, N. D., was a visitor last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Holdaway. Mrs. Ross was a mission friend of Robert Holdaway, who filled a mission in that field. Miss Angelyn Warnick returned Thursday from Fort Shaw, Montana, where she has been visiting her parents par-ents for two weeks. She visited rela- tives in Manila Thursday before returning re-turning to her work in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Donna Ash, Mrs. Mary Price and Mrs. H. W. Jacobs visited in Heber City Wednesday. Mrs. Ash visited with Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Olpin and family, and Mrs. (Price and Mrs. Jacobs with Mrs. C. Jacobs. Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Anderson of Salt Lake City are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Anderson An-derson of Lindon. They recently returned re-turned from Denver, Colorado, where they spent their vacation. With them are their children, Richard Rich-ard and Gloria. Mr. and Mrs. Alex Larson and their son and niece, of Casper, Wyo., are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Scholes. Mrs. Ethan Peay of Garfield also is visiting at the Scholes home. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Cullimore and Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Thorne and family motored to the Cave camp in American Fork canyon Wednesday evening, for a very enjoyable outing. Mrs. H. E. Bradley spent Friday of last week in Eureka, where she I visited her brothers and their fami- ' lies, Mr. and Mrs. Ethan Gunder-son Gunder-son and Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Gun-derson. Gun-derson. Mrs. Ruth Brown of Provo will give a book review, at a meeting of the Mothers' club this evening, at the home of Mrs. Junius West. Musical numbers will be furnished by Mrs. Reva Fugal. Mrs. A. P. ' Warnick is in charge of the program. The Anderson family reunion will be held at the Wilford Anderson home at Lindon today, beginning at 2 p. m. Fifty persons are expected to attend. Games will be played on the lawn, and refreshments will be served. Mrs. Frank G. Thorne of Orem entertained en-tertained the Thorne family Tuesday Tues-day evening, the occasion honoring the birthday anniversary of her husband. Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Joseph D. Fage and Mrs. Vida Conway of Pleasant Grove; Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Thome of Lindon, Mr. and Mrs. R. R. Thorne of Provo, and Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Keetch and Mr. and Mrs. N. A. Jacobsen of Orem. |
