Show Soft Ball Schedule Gets Started Here The opening game in the American Ameri-can Fork commercial Softball league got under way here Tuesday afternoon af-ternoon when the A. & W. beat the Poultry Producers team 4 to 0 at the high school grounds. ' Much interest is being shown by the townspeople in the series. Four teams have already entered the league. Grant Ingersoll, city recreation recre-ation leader, states that some interesting in-teresting games are in prospect. Included in the city recreation program which is being sponsored by the city and the Alpine school district are two junior leagues, who started play several wTeeks ago; story telling, sports, and handicraft hours are conducted at the City Park every afternoon except Wednesday, Wed-nesday, Saturday and Sunday. Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon the Stake Primary association is in charge of the games for the younger children. The boys ranging from 9 to 12 years of ' age meet at the high school while the girls hold their play hour at the City park.
