Show PRIMARY JAMBOREE BIG SUCCESS The Primary Jamboree or story telling went off well Tuesday evening eve-ning from 7:00 until 8:00 o'clock when 182 people assembled in the grove. Mrs. Joseph Day led in songs, after which the groups were formed and stories told. Harold S. Walker, as an Indian chief, told of "How We Got Our Dogs"; Emma Bush, in a costume from the Holy Land, told the story of "Queen Esther"; Leone Told, dressed in Japanese costume, told "White Aster"; Mrs. E. A. Pearson as Mother Goose, gave the story of "Ping"; Edna Nelson told the stories of "Little Black Sambo", "The Gradual Story" and "The Little Lit-tle Old Woman and her Last Match"; Donna Olpin Ash gave the sweet old story of "Mrs. Wiggs in the Cabbage Patch". |
