Show Boy Seriously Injured as Car Overturns Athol Ross, 15-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Ross, was seriously ser-iously injured Wednesday morning ' about 11 o'clock when the automobile automo-bile in which he was riding with two other boy friends overturned in Highland. According to reports, young Ross and his two companions, Harold Stoker and Paul Mason, decided to go for a ride in the automobile belonging be-longing to Ivan Schow. They were going along the Highland road when the car swerved to the side of the road. The driver turned it ;bac& to the road quickly, thus causing it to completely overturn sideways. The car turned back upon its wheels and then Tan into a ditch. Athol was the only one .'seriously injured, his side and ribs being badly bad-ly hurt. Paul Mason suffered scratches and bruises about his face. Mr. Beck of Highland rushed the injured lad to the hospital ffcr medical med-ical attention. City Marshal TJiron Fowler investigated in-vestigated the accident. |
