Show .Mrs. J. W. Jones Laid At Rest Solemn funeral services were held Saturday, April 20, at 2 p. m. in the City Cemetery for Mrs. J. W. Jones, 57, who died April 17, following a several days illness of spinal meningitis. menin-gitis. A large crowd of friends and relatives were in attendance. The floral offerings were many and most beautiful. Previous to the services the body was viewed through the windows win-dows of the Anderson Undertaking establishment. Bishop Joseph H. Storrs was in charge of the services, which opened with a vocal duet by Moral D. Steele and Mrs. Ora H. Chipman. Opening prayer was given by W. S. Chipman. The speakers were President C. E. Young and Edward Southwick of Lehi. Many words of consolement were spoken to the bereaved family. Mrs. Edith G. Young sang a solo as the concluding musical selection, after aft-er which S. T. Baker pronounced the benediction and gave the dedicatory prayer. o |
