Who ever heard of a Ford tractor? No, not a Fordson, but a Ford. The other day there appeared in our midst just such a thing. A tiny vest pocket size tractor yet one that is as surprising sur-prising in its work as the old Ford is to stand hard knocks. It is simply a Model T Ford adapted adapt-ed to a Strawn rear axle making one of the handiest little "tractors imaginable. imagin-able. It has a speed of from two to five miles per hour in high speed and is designed to replace a 3,000 pound team. When used to break alfalfa it performed in a splendid manner, was certainly a surprise to everyone who saw it work. The ease with which it could be handled and used in small rlaces was a feature while (he economy of its operation was an outstanding merit. It certainly fills the bill for cheap, efficient power on the farm and several readily expressed themselves them-selves as believing that with such a device two horses were no longer necessary on a farm in this locality.
