Show James S. Crystal Dies Following Fol-lowing Lingering Illness James S- Crystal, 55, prominent stock raiser of this community, died at the family residence Tuesday morning, July 23, following a lingering linger-ing illness which has extended over a period of two years. Mr. Crystal was born in this city-May city-May 2, 1S74, of pioneer parents, dames and Janet Smith Crystal. Ho has lived here all his life, and has engaged in sheep and stock raising as an occupation. He was married June 6, 1904, in Price to Laura Zufelt. From this union they were blessed with four children, all who survive as follows: Mrs. Golda Crystal Freshwater, Del-mar, Del-mar, Genna Vee and Laura Crystal, his wife, Mrs. Laura Zufelt Crystal, mother, Mrs. Janet Smith Crystal, and two grandchildren, Bert Jay Crystal and Barbarra Jean Freshwater Fresh-water also survive, besides one brother, Alexander Crystal of Salt Lake City. Funeral services were held Friday at 2 p. m. in the Alpine Stake Tabernacle Taber-nacle under the direction of the Second Sec-ond Ward Bishopric. They were too late to print as we went to press- The body was viewed at the family residence previous to the services. |
