Miller and Miss Bessie Crooks of Shelley, Idaho, toured the famous Salmon River country, visiting Missoula, Kalispell, Havre, Chinook and many other cities in Montana, besides making a trip to Glacier National Park. The Seagull girls and their teachers teach-ers of the Second Wartl Primary were entertained at a kensington Monday evening at the home of Mrs. Joseph Walton, president of the ward Primary Pri-mary association. Dunkley and children, Lois, Don and Bobbie, arrived ar-rived Ljre Friday evening from Sun River canyon in Montana, where Mr. Dunkley has been employed as assistant assis-tant engineer on the Gibson Dam, which has been under construction for the past two years. He has now received an appointment from the government to work under the direction direc-tion of O. E. Larson, supervisor of the reclamation work in Utah. ; Mrs- Philip Cawrey of Los Angeles, j California, and Miss Mae God'dard of ' Hollywood, California, were guests last week of their sister, Mrs. Jarvis j Aydelotte, at the Aydelotte summer home in Provo canyon. i Mrs. C. Three Mayor and Mrs. Roy Greenwood and Mr. and Mrs- Ben Moffett arrived home Tuesday from a several days vacation at Granddad'dy lakes. En-route En-route home they stopped at Mt- Nel Berg resort, a new summer camp erected by John E. Berg, prominent sheep man of the community, at I his ranch. At present, the resort is equipped with up-to-date new cabins. cab-ins. Fishing, wonderful sha!de, cold spring water and boating are just a few of the attractions it offers. Next year three tfig lakes will be open to the public for fishing purposes. Miss Sarah Parker in company with Miss Ellen Smith of Salt Lake City, arrived home Wednesday, following a six weeks vacation in the eastern states. Donald Parker joined them; at Butte, Montana arid accompanied them home. Miss Parker and Miss Smith toured all the principle eastern east-ern cities, Boston, Washington D. C. Mrs. Blaine Lott of Crockett, California, Cali-fornia, arrived in this city Thursday morning, and will visit a month with her father, William Wagstaff, and other relatives here and Lehi. Mrs. Lott was formerly Miss Margaret Mar-garet Wagstaff. tables were in progress, high score being won by Mrs. Blanche Olsen of Provo. Mrs. L. A. Adamson was hostess Friday afternoon at a well appointed party at Saratoga resort, the occasion being her birthday anniversary. Smell tables on a section of the lawn were reserved special for the entertainment, entertain-ment, where progressive "Bunco" was played. Swimming and outdoor games were also enjoyed. Early in the evening, even-ing, luncheon was served in picnic style. An attractive centerpiece for the table was a pink bowl of white snap dragons. The guest list included includ-ed the following: Mrs. Elizabeth Coddington, Mrs. Mary Nielsen, Mrs. Mae Greenwood, Mrs. Hannah Aydelotte, Ayde-lotte, Mrs. Nona Gaisford, Mrs. Lexia Briggs, Mrs. Lillie Wild of this city, Mrs. Frank White of Provo, Mrs. Ed Larsen and Mrs. Eli Bachelor of Lehi. Philidelphia, Chicago and New York, besides making a trip to Canada, where they visited Montreal and other cities enroute. Returning home they were joine'd by Miss Parker's brother, Donald, who is employed by the Mt. States Tel- and Tel. Co. at Butte, Montana. Mon-tana. The group stopped at Yellowstone Yellow-stone Park for a few days, before coming to American Fork. Mr. Parker Park-er will enjoy his vacation here and in Salt Lake City. |
