Show Baby Meets Oeatli In Automobile Accident Lois Tidwell, 21-months-old baby of Mr. and Mrs. T- I Tidwell, met a tragic death Wednesday evening, when she was killed in an auto accident ac-cident some time after her parents had left on a holiday trip to Saratoga resort. The accident occurred around 7:30 p. m. when the child's grandfather, T. P. Tidwell, thinking that a little ride would help to soothe the baby'g restlessness, started for a drive. Mr. Tidwell had difficulty in turning the car on the Sarah Jones' corner when he attempted to go north towards the American Fork high school. The wheels locked and in his efforts to turn he lost control of the car. It left the road, falling over the four feet embankment into the Agnes Holm stead lot. The little girl was thrown through the windshield, the impact breaking her neck and fracturing her skull. Dr. G- S- Richards was immediately im-mediately summoned, but she died before be-fore any medical attention could be given. Mr. Tidwell escaped injury. The child was born in American Fork October 27, 1927- Besides the parents and grandfather, two sisters, Maxine and Helen, survive. Funeral services are being held to day (Saturday) at 1 P- m- in the Anderson Undertaking Parlors. Interment In-terment will be made at Nephi. o |
