Teachers Select Charles Walker To Head Organization Charles B. Walker of this city was chosen as president of the Alpine school district teachers association for the coming year at their institute held Frilay and Saturday. Other officers were elected as follows: Ross Nielsen, Lehi, vice-president; E. B. Garrett and Miss Bessie Newman with with Mr- Walker as representatives to the Utah Educational association house of delegates. The three sessions were well attended at-tended and some very valuable talka were deliverel by local and state school leaders. At each session musical programs interspersed the business and talks. The publishing of teachers salaries in the annual report was discussed the teachers favoring the repealing of the state ! law which requires this as part of the report.
