Show Andreason-G-rant Wedding Eeception Pretty Affair Charming in every detail was the reception given at popular Geneva resort last Friday evening, September Septem-ber 6, by Mr. and Mrs. Axel Andrea-son Andrea-son of Vineyard in honor of the marriage mar-riage of their daughter, Leona, and Melvin Grant of this city, which took place the previous day in the Salt Lake Temple. Three hundred and fifty relatives and friends from American Fork, Vineyard, Pleasant Grove an'd Provo were present in compliment to the young couple. The hall was a veritable setting for the affair, a wealth of fall flowers flow-ers and ferns being used to form a bower for the bridal party. In the receiving line were the bride's parents and Mrs. Rosa Grant, mother of the groom. the bride was lovely in coral georgette and cream lace. She carried car-ried a shower bouquet of pink roses. Her attendants, Miss Evelyn Halli-day Halli-day of Provo, Miss Freda Bailey of Ephraim, Miss Zella Hardjng of Vineyard and Miss Dorothy Grant of this city all had dainty bouquets of white asters and pink roses. Miss Halliday wore a pretty creation of blue satin and lace, Miss Bailey made a charming picture in pe.ach georg- ette. Miss Harding s model of cream I georgette was truly beautiful and Miss Grant was pretty in apricot georgette and lace. Milbourn Anderson of Salt Lake City acted as best man. A short musical program with Dr. James M'. Grant, brother of the groom, acting as master of ceremonies cere-monies was enjoyed, after which dancing was the feature of the evening- The numbers consisted of Chris Froisland of Provo singing his own composition, "My Rocky Mountain Sweetheart," the Male Glee Clnb of Vineyard furnishing two selections and a variety of song numbers by "TabbyT and Bun". Delicious refreshments were serv. ed at the conclusion of the reception. The refreshments' were in charge of Mrs. S. F. Grant. The gift room was under the supervision sup-ervision of Mrs. C. A. Grant, Mrs-James Mrs-James M. Grant, Mrs. Madeline Frand sen, Mrs. R. J. Johnson and Mrs. Lorena Peterson. The young couple are now at home In Tleasant Grove to their many friends. . rt |
