Tribune Salutes Pleasant Grove On KDYL Wed. Pleasant Grove and its annual Strawberry festival were featured on the "Know Your Intermountatn West" radio broadcast Wednesday night over KDYL, sponsored by the Salt Lake Tribune. Mayor S. A. Kirk and Lyean Johnson, secretary of the Pleasant Grove chamber of commerce, appeared ap-peared on the program to describe the growth of the city and praise the excellence of its farm products. Gordon Wright, AnneMarie Walker and Marilyn Richards also were heard on the broadcast, as competitors competi-tors in a quiz contest. Mr. Wright was the winner. Mayor Kirk devoted his talk to a description of the city's resources and its progress. During the evening the group, including in-cluding also Mr. and Mrs. Harold S. ; Walker, Carol Walker and Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Richards, were taken on an educational and entertaining tour i of the Tribune, and were shown all departments of the newspaper.
