Show NOVEL DECORATIONS MARK CELEBRATION OF HOLIDAYS HERE 4 PRIZEWINNERS IN CITY CONTEST NAMED Brightening the holiday season with their friendly glow, a number of homes in American Fork have been decorated by residents who are vying for valuable prizes in the home decoration contest. Decisions of the judges in the home decoration contest were announced an-nounced Thursday as The Citizen was going to press. The winners: First Clarence A. Grant Second Betha Storrs Third Walter Slack Fourth Mrs. H. C. Jensen. Homes which display elaborate decorations in keeping with the holiday holi-day theme are those of Miss Betha Storrs, Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Baird, Delbert Ray Chipman, Walter Slack, Mrs. Clifford E. Young, Mrs. H. C. Jensen, Mrs. J. E. Walker, Clarence A. Grant, and John H. Miller. Prizes for the contest will be as follows: First Chromium electric toaster, contributed by Chipman Mercantile company. Second Electric hot plate, contributed con-tributed by Utah Power & Light company. Third Table lamp, contributed by Dixon-Taylor-Russell company. Rourth--Suitcase, contributed by J. C. Penney company. The committee in charge of the contest includes Mrs. William Chip-man, Chip-man, Mrs. J. W. Myers, Mrs. Delbert Chipman, Mrs. W. R. Halliday, and Mrs. Leo G. Meredith. |
