Mrs. Hugh Jacobs of Heber City ; has returned to her home, after a visit here with Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Jacobs. Mr. and Mrs. Gene McCandless of Eureka spent Christmas day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Green. Mr. and Mrs. Peterson Peter-son arrived Sunday and remained for an extended visit during the holidays. The O M S. club of Pleasant Grove held a formal banquet Wednesday Wed-nesday evening, December 28, at the , home of Mrs. Robert Holdaway. The J group has made it a practice to meet each year for a Christmas party, and this year marked the sixth annual ann-ual gathering. The Windsor ward was royally entertained at a Christmas party Saturday evening, under the sponsorship spon-sorship of the Sunday School and Primary organizations. Santa Claus came during the party and distributed dis-tributed candy and nuts. A large crowd attended. Mrs. Edmund R. Cragun entertained enter-tained at Christmas dinner Monday Mon-day for members of her family. Covers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Cragun and children, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar M. Cragun and children, chil-dren, and Mr. and Mrs. W. Rumel Cragun and children, and Mr. and Mrs. Edmund R. Cragun. Among the Pleasant Grove students stu-dents attending the Utah State Agricultural college who are home for the holidays are Abel Ekins, S'am Hilton, LaRee Tomlinson, Emma Em-ma Walker, Rex Walker, Jean Fu-gal, Fu-gal, Blaine Halliday, Darrell Johnson, John-son, Leo Eves, David Green, Wesley Wes-ley Keetch and Harry Loader. Covers were laid for twelve at a Christmas dinner Monday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Hilton. The group included Mr. and Mrs. Sharp Gillespie of Edgemont, Mr. and Mrs. Byron Clark and Mr. and Mrs. Alex Mortensen of Provo, Mr. and Mrs. James Pinegar of Edgemont, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Davis Da-vis of Logan and Mr. and Mrs. Hilton.
