Show Seminary Dance Is Outstanding Event of Season The American Fork Seminary was host to the other three seminaries of the Alpine district Tuesday evening dt one of the most successful dance parties of the year. The party took place in the Apollo hall, which is appropriately decorated for the Yuletide season. The music was furnished by Howard Paxman's orchestra. or-chestra. About 300 students of the four schools attended, with Plesident Wilford W. Warnick and High Councilman Gilbert W. Richardson of the Timpanogos stake, Principal and Mrs. William C. Smith of Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove, Principal and Mrs. Milton Mil-ton H. Knudson of Lehi, and Principal Prin-cipal E. Ray Gardner as patron guests of the students. Several old "grads" were joyfully received. The evening was spent in dancing and at selected intervals many favorite fav-orite mixers, such as tag dances, the John Paul Jones, and drawing for partners added to the entertain- ment. One of the really delightful events was a candy shower of wrap- ' ped wonder sticks. Both guests and students heartily expressed themselves as having had a glorious time and they commented on the careful arrangements, the well planned group entertainment, and the courtesies extended to them by the managers of the Apollo hall. All are looking forward to the next seminary party to be sponsored by Lehi, and then by Lincoln. The hope is tnat tnese parues wm become an annual affair wherein the young folks can enjoy clean, wholesome whole-some entertainment. |
